Poison water in Flint
So, the big news right now is the water supply in flint michigan. Sigh...what can I even say about this. This is no surprise to me. We as Americans have been getting shitted on. Some of us more than others, but all of us none the less. The fact that it happens to be a majority of black people there is not a coincidence. Just like when hurricane Katrina hit and it took DAYS to get help. The crazy part is nobody is stupid and nobody is falling for this bullshit.
Everyone is so confused on what to do about it. What can anyone do? That's the part that don't make sense. We all want to do something. We all know what's going on isn't right, but none of us know where the starting point is for change. That's on purpose. We will never know as long as we are divided. Things like this will keep happening. This genocide is disgusting and hurts my soul. I can't even fathom how people purposelfully hurt or kill other people for their own profitable gain.
This type of news litterally makes me want to cry. How can this be happening? This article is leaving me with more questions than answers.
This is what I found.
0ppm is how much lead is supposed to be in tap water. 100ppm is concerning, but some homes were testing at 13,200ppm. 5000ppm is considered toxic waste.
The ball got dropped on this one and i'm not completely convinced it was accidental. There is news of evidence being covered up. This could have all been prevented for $100 a day. The damage to the body is irreversable.
Flint has been getting a lot of relief. President Obama freed up $5million for the crisis. It's still not even close to enough. A lot of stars have been calling out for help and donating themselves.
People are calling for the resignation or arrest of Gov. Rick Snyder. He is however not willing to step down. He is poisoning people and still won't step down. That should show that those type of people don't give a fuck about you or me. Somehow this is not registering like it's supposed to in the media.
